How to join the Society

Contacts with all who share an interest

are welcomed

Membership of the Society is open to all who support its aims upon payment of the Annual Subscription. Principally this is intended for singers to join the choir but it is also open to others who are interested, including orchestral players.

But for “listeners” and other supporters please also see the page on this site about Friends of the Exeter Bach Society.

The membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August, though the choir normally only rehearses and performs from September each year until Easter the following year. At present, rehearsals take place at 7 p.m. in the Kalendar Hall in South Street, Exeter, on Thursday evenings during the singing season. (Kalendar Hall is opposite Kentucky Fried Chicken.). The 2010/2011 season starts on Thursday 9th September 2010 at the Kalendar Hall.

The annual subscription for 2009/2010 was £50. There is a voice assessment for new members which takes place a few weeks after joining.
